All about Hot Batches...
A flaming good sauce that keeps the mouth watering ... that's what we have been striving to achieve over the decade. Then finally we hit the hot spot, a Peri Peri so good we just couldn't help but share it with the world. Launched 2020 in Sydney, Australia, Hot Batches is a passion project of South African-born chef Marcello Kaminski. Peri Peri is embedded into South African culture having been introduced to it by Mozambican nationals who brought the African bird's eye chilli into the country decades ago. You'll find it in almost every fridge or pantry and ranges from mild on the taste buds to "I can't feel my face anymore" hot.
Marcello's love for Peri Peri began while working in a Portuguese / Mozambican restaurant as a young chef. This love led to him creating his own unique sauce blend, that's always made with the best ingredients, love and tenderness to ensure a delicious flavour-filled journey for our customers. With a bit of that African fire included, naturally.
